Grenada’s mountainous landscape and luscious rain-forests are perfect for hiking lovers and Tom, who is a ceritified hiking guide, will escort you on the various hikes available. Some start in the Grand Etang area of Grenada which is in the interior of the island. Mount Qua Qua is Grenada’s second highest mountain at more than 700m and the hike to its summit is 2 1/2 hours. For those with more stamina there is the 8 hour hike to the summit of the tallest mountain in Grenada, Mount Saint Catherine which is 840m. If your desire is to see a waterfall then you can take part in a 90 minute hike to the Seven Sisters waterfall or there’s the five hour hike to Tufton Waterfall, the highest water fall in Grenada. Alternatively, a special 90 minute hike has been designed to take you around the eerie but beautiful Grand Etang Lake. For beach lovers, a hike starting in La Tante, on the south eastern side of the island, is around 2 hours and takes in at least four secluded beaches.
