Pearls Airport

pearlsPearls Airport, which is North of Grenville, was Grenada’s only airport until the Maurice Bishop International Airport (formerly known as Point Salines) was built in the South. Now abandoned and frozen in time, delapitated Cuban and Soviet airlines remain on the runway as relics of the 1983 intervention. Derelict buildings house what looks like what was once a cafe and a duty free shop that still has its specials printed on the slabs above the door.
